Looking for a fun way to celebrate Valentine’s Day or Just a fun night out? Join us for our special pasta and chocolate class!
In this class we will work in small teams to create the various components of dinner; extruding semolina pasta, making sauces, making meatballs, or salad. We will then all come together for a ganache making demonstration.
Participants will then sit down to enjoy their hard work at candlelit tables set for two.
After dinner we will reconvene to finish preparing the dessert of chocolate fondue and chocolate truffles. There will be plenty of truffles so participants will be able to take home a box or two to enjoy later.
We will have some appetizers waiting for you when you arrive so you can enjoy a snack before you start cooking.

Heli is an experienced professional baker and pastry chef with an appreciation for sustainable agriculture and food production. After completing the professional baking program at the San Francisco Baking Institute, she worked at a number of prominent bakeries across the country including Red Hen Bakery in Vermont and Sun Street Bakery in Minneapolis. After moving to San Francisco in 2013, she worked at Tartine Bakery for nearly five years, rising to the role of kitchen manager and pastry chef. She currently continues her craft doing pop-ups, custom orders, and giving private baking lessons in addition to teaching at Tinker Kitchen.
She loves to travel and explore baked goods and vegetarian cuisine across the world. She has lived in Modena, Italy, having worked at a traditional balsamic vinegar producer while enjoying and learning about traditional Italian cooking techniques.
Her hobbies include knitting, gardening, road cycling, and hosting dinner parties for friends.
